John R. Colip, practicing business law, estate planning, real estate and family law in Buchanan since 1980, and a Buchanan native, has joined Kotz Sangster Wysocki P.C. Mr. Colip states, “I am very enthused about this opportunity to create closer professional ties with excellent lawyers and staff. I want to continue, as a team, to provide superior services to our clients.” This now provides West Michigan with Kotz Sangster offices in Buchanan, Niles, South Haven and Grand Rapids.
Colip has been very active in the local community, serving as a trustee of the Buchanan Community Schools Board of Education, Lakeland Health Foundation Board, and the Buchanan Lions Club. He served four years with the Judge Advocate General’s Office of the U.S. Air Force with the rank of Captain. He has also been active in the Berrien County Bar Association, as well as serving as a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. Mr. Colip is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and earned his law degree at Valparaiso University.
