On October 12, 2016, construction law attorney Ed Boucher led an educational session with the American Institute of Architects / Huron Valley Chapter and the Washtenaw Contractors Association in Ann Arbor. The discussion and case study covered the use of “Design Assist” for the Lansing Community College Gannon Building project.
Attendees covered such hot topics as: Who really has design responsibility? When should it be used? Is it cheaper? Is it better? What legal and liability questions are involved? Panel members also included professionals from Granger Construction, Stantec, and Limbach.
