EEOC Issues Guidance

EEOC ISSUES GUIDANCE REGARDING COVID-19 AND THE WORKPLACE

On March 18, 2020, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission released a bulletin entitled “What You Should Know About the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and COVID-19.” A link to the guidance can be found here. The guidance answers employer’s questions on issues such as whether an employer can take an employee’s body temperature, can an employer require employees to stay home, and whether an employer can require a doctor’s note certifying an employee’s fitness for duty.
