Jeff is a founding member of Kotz Sangster and has focused his practice on all aspects of construction law for more than 30 years. From construction drafting and negotiations, contract review and risk analysis, to claim resolution through litigation, arbitration, facilitation and mediation, Jeff has an intimate understanding of contractors and their business objectives. Additionally, he sits as an arbitrator on the Construction Panel for the American Arbitration Association and is afforded the opportunity to view a construction dispute from both sides of the table, which is a significant benefit to the firm’s clients. An active member of the Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association (MITA), Jeff also belongs to the Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM).
A Michigan not-for-profit organization, Pure Oakland Water (POW) is dedicated to protecting Oakland County and regional water resources through public education, community organizing, environmental advocacy, and promotion of a sustainable future. POW strives to fulfill its mission through a host of educational, outreach and advocacy programs for students, residents, the business community, elected officials and other stakeholders across the region.
POW works with the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner to convene an annual storm water summit each year, targeting local and state officials, officeholders, corporate and industry allies, and those in academia with the best practices and innovative programming in an effort to reduce runoff pollution, cut costs, and protect lakes and rivers with green infrastructure and reduced sewage overflows.
