Shawn R. Cioffi has focused on litigation since the start of his practice, and he has earned a reputation as a fair but vigorous advocate. From complex, multi-state litigation to sensitive family law matters (i.e. divorce) to criminal defense and bankruptcy, Shawn assists clients in obtaining a decisive resolution of any dispute. He excels at ensuring clients understand their options and assists in a holistic approach to conflict resolution. Whether through litigation or alternative methods, Shawn helps clients solve and address challenging problems that can often be life challenging. With Shawn, a client’s interests are always placed first; and whatever the situation, he will approach it with compassion and understanding.
A lifelong Michigan resident, Shawn has strong ties to the community. He is a product of the Catholic school system and the son of a teacher and school principal. As such, he values lifelong education and a commitment to continued learning. Shawn is a regular and active participant in such programs as “Court in the Schools,” moot court and mock trial competitions, and youth sports.
